The Lord said I have surely seen the affliction of my people. (Exodus
3:7).
After many years of oppression in Egypt the people of Israel began to
cry into the God for help. When they turned to the Lord He turned to them. Just
as God was concerned about the misery of His people in Egypt, He is aware of
the affliction of all His people. He hears the cry of the afflicted, those who
are troubled and oppressed. In such times we must cry out to Him that He might
mercifully intervene.
Whether our oppression comes from circumstances, people, Satan, sin or
the world, God`s comfort, grace and help are more sufficient to meet all our
needs.
